Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor who has been a part of the SSC's board since 2011, is the co-founding artistic director of the new theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 to the year 2019. Additionally, she was a part of the SSC as a producer and composer of costumes/set designs, music director, and text-coach while serving as Artistic Direction. Markie Post has been in a variety of game shows in addition to her acting profession. Daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised with two of her brothers in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School, where she was a cheerleader. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. Post was married prior to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982.
