Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of heartbreak in the early years achieved wide popularity in the first decade of the 20th century. Swift developed an interest for music as a child and soon progressed from performing in kids' shows, and then making her first public appearance front of an audience. The moment Swift performed The Star-Spangled Banner in front of a Philadelphia 76ers game at the age of 11 she had already begun creating songs. After that, she started playing the guitar. Swift composed original music inspired by the country music of musicians such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks), and Dixie Chicks. Her material reflected Swift's experiences with tweens alienation. Swift's parents moved her from Pennsylvania to Tennessee at the age of 13 when they decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm. This allowed Swift to devote more time trying to find labels that would promote country music in Nashville.
